**preliminary report**
Active FreeKeene blogger Ian Freeman today helped the Keene District Court prove that it is ready to crack down on non-violent peaceful people today. At least 6 officers of various rank were present in court to try and outnumber the liberty activists. Judge Burke was obviously ready to order Ian’s arrest, and did so less than 45 seconds after entering the courtroom. Ian was then taken to a second room where his supporters could not go with him. He was viewed on closed circuit TV as he continued to question the system and not consent, and drew two further contempt of court charges, all three for 30 days in jail.

By Kat Kanning
Lauren Canario and Jim Johnson of Winchester have erected a new sign on their Ashuelot Street property. It says, “School's Open, Hide all the Children.” In a recent interview, Canario told the New Hampshire Free Press , “I put up the sign in solidarity with all the kids who are going to be locked up in public schools. They're forced to be there, locked up all day, drugged in many cases, told to sit down and shut up.”

Keene Government put on Notice
Tue, 07/29/2008 - 13:03 — katkanningKeene's government people are hereby put on notice:
Everything you know is about to change. As each month goes by, more liberty loving activists will be moving into the Keene area. Please understand that voluntary interaction in a free market is the most humane method of interaction for mankind. These ideas of liberty are powerful and infectious. As our concentration and influence build, our ideas will become popular. Your government corporation will lose its most precious element of legitimacy as more and more people choose to ignore your dictates and live as free men and women.
Enjoy your coercive reign of the people in Keene while it lasts. I expect you'll find your power over others diminishing over time, hopefully sooner rather than later, but I want to assure you that it is going to happen. Therefore, you should start thinking about products or services that you can offer into the marketplace on a voluntary basis, just like the rest of us peaceful people.
