Senator Shaheen Wants You to Pay For Abortions!
Sun, 12/13/2009 - 11:22 — katkanningRead her attached letter!
Yesterday, the US Senate took up Senator Ben Nelson's (D-NE) amendment to the federal health care bill which would have prohibited tax-payer funding of abortion. The amendment needed 60 votes to pass and lost 54-45. Among those voting against the bill was New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen.
This morning, Cornerstone's Executive Director, Kevin Smith, released the following statement to the press:
"We are very disappointed by Senator Shaheen's decision to reject a common sense amendment to the health care bill which would have prohibited tax payer funding of abortions. Mrs. Shaheen has once again demonstrated her extreme position on this issue by capitulating to the abortion lobby rather than representing her own constituents."
Open Letter to Senator Shaheen
Sun, 12/13/2009 - 11:09 — katkanningDear Senator Shaheen,
New Hampshire doesn’t want the “Obama/Reid/Pelosi” health care bill. Competition and sensible marketplace reforms will lower premium costs and improve health care choices for individuals and businesses.
I express my strong opposition to the “Government takeover” of healthcare! This adds up to a massive, expensive new federal program that we can’t afford. How on earth do you think we’ll be able to pay for government-subsidized health care?
I know the answer to that question: More taxes and stifling mandates. My children, grandchildren, and I will pick up the tab.

Mark Hilbert NH Dept. Of Safety State investigator was charged with stalking a homeowner in Dublin over her generator being hooked up during the NH ice storm because the home main breaker was accidentally left on back feeding electricity to the power line. Thankfully no one was harmed. The state had received hundreds of reports of people who had hooked up their generators this way due to shortages of parts during the ice storm state of emergency. Lineman were checking for back feeding due to this.
Elaine Brown: "Prepare for full blown slavery!"
Sat, 08/22/2009 - 14:15 — katkanningReferring to the article in the July 29 edition [of the Fort Fairfield Journal] about my husband and myself, as of this writing we have not yet been sentenced; however, there is little doubt that on September 3, the sentencing date, the stated term of incarceration will be as printed.
On Pacifism: A Different Take
Sat, 07/18/2009 - 09:18 — katkanningAfter reading Ogre's article “On Pacifism” in June's paper I felt the need to add my two cents. The question of whether violence is the solution has plagued me ever since thoughts of greater importance than 'who's buying the beer' and 'how long can I hold this hit in' began to materialize within the resin coated cavity that is my brain. OK, so starting around my 21st birthday this important question has been bothering me.
Open Letter to President Obama
Mon, 06/08/2009 - 07:39 — russellkanningDear President Obama:
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and, unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing, with no visible signs of support.
You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.
You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.
You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.
You scare me because, for over half your life, you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America, and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who
wish to see America fail.
Regarding Radio Show Host Jailed over Couch
Wed, 05/13/2009 - 15:58 — katkanningRead your NHFP story on "Keene Radio Host Jailed over Couch" by Michael Hampton... It mentions housing inspector Carl Patten visited Freeman...
Patten has had other run-ins with independent-minded citizens that culminated with his recent firing... Of interest to you is the lastest Patten conflict with Vietnam War vet Rollin Pardo(sic)...Over an unregistered vehicle in his yard which is off of Mytle Street Keene...A conflict arose and Patten threaten Pardo and Pardo did the same, threatening to use a snowshovel...Pardo called the Governor's office...
The Real Gay Marriage
Wed, 05/13/2009 - 14:53 — katkanningThe homosexual movement and individual freedom are at hopeless odds. Every advance for the homosexual agenda begs for government intervention, which, not surprisingly, tends to place limitations on heterosexuals. In other words, new “freedoms” or rights for the homosexual must come at the price of new restrictions on heterosexuals. To succeed, this agenda must culminate and progress by means of laws, regulations, quotas, fines, penalties, hate speech censorship, licenses, benefits, etc., etc.
Rick Stanley needs your help in gun case
Sat, 05/09/2009 - 16:43 — katkanningDear Kat and Russ,
The two of you are long standing activists for liberty, and you know of my imprisonment. I'm writing to ask a huge favor of each of you and any liberty activists you might be able to contact easily and quickly. My parole hearing is coming up in June. If I can get support letters from family, friends, and concerned liberty activists, perhaps the parole board could be swayed to grant me a discretionary parole. I have no large contact list here in prison, a bit of a tough nut. My imprisonment would end 4 years early and my 3 year mandatory parole would begin, if I can muster some serious support, through letters. I could go home to live and work, which my wife, Pam and my family desperately need my presence.

Open letter from Edward-Lewis and Elaine-Alice Brown
Sat, 05/09/2009 - 15:32 — katkanningWe sit here in Strafford Cty. Jail, pondering the issue of utilizing attorneys in this onslaught of persecution from the federal government. No matter how we look at it, after researching attorneys' functions, the definitions of attorneys and who they represent or present, it all comes down to all attorneys operate in legal fiction as foreign agents, dealing in private corporate law (61 million of them) that is understood only by the courts and attorneys. Or do they—how can anyone understand 61 million laws?
